Dominion Dressage Farm, LLC is a boarding and training facility located in Dickerson, Maryland with a focus on Dressage and Classical riding.

We offer full board in the large barn and the shed row barn and limited field board. We specialize in individual attention and all horses are cared for as though they were our own. To support your horse’s individual nutritional needs, we offer a multitude of feed options and have worked with equine nutritionists to formulate the perfect mix of feed and supplements to enable your equine partner to perform well and to thrive.

We have structured our property to enable private or semi-private turnout to ensure that each horse is in a situation that suits his/her needs. If your horse is turned out with another horse, we ensure that the pair is well matched so their time spent outdoors is relaxing and supports their overall wellbeing. Your horse can be out all day, or part of the day, whichever meets their needs. Included in the board is preparation for turnout to include blanketing as dictated by the weather, boots, fly masks, fly spray, fly sheets, etc; whatever your horse needs.

Dominion Dressage truly specializes in the complete care of your horse. Most of our clients live far from the stable and find scheduling routine vet and farrier visits difficult – and we can help. We have equine specialists in chiropractic, acupuncture, dentistry, etc. who visit our facility on a regular basis and we can arrange for this type of care for your horse as well.

Our facility has full size indoor and outdoor arenas, as well as access to miles of trails and riding fields. We specialize in Dressage and have several FEI level dressage trainers working out of the facility including Cheryl Loane, Kim Murphy and Barbara Strawson. Our trainers work harmoniously together and although each trainer offers their own special take on training and teaching, each is dedicated to the development of an equine partnership between you and your horse that is based on your personal goals. Additional training is available through regularly scheduled clinics with such noted professionals as Linda Zang and Jeremy Beale.

MUSICAL FREESTYLE

Dominion Dressage is teaming w/Equichord to make musical freestyle an option for more riders. For those who have never ridden a freestyle, Equichord can help with music selection, choreography, and development of your final program. We are scheduling events that will enable people to try musical freestyle without committing to development of the final product. For those riders that have freestyles, Equichord can help you move up to the next level or polish your existing program. Stay tuned for dates and events.
